Job Satisfaction according to Display Rule, Social Support, Job Autonomy among Clinical Nurses

Abstract
Purpose : The purpose of this research is to investigate the correlation job satisfaction, display rule, social support, job autonomy among clinical nurses to provide basic data for increasing job satisfaction of clinical nurses by identifying factors affecting job satisfaction and to contribute to quality improvement of the area of clinical practice.

Methods : To this end, this research recruited 512 of nurses no less than 300 beds in Kwangju city and Chunnam. Data was collected only for those who understood the purpose of the study and agreed to participate in the research from September 1 to 30, 2019. Collected data was analyzed using ANOVA, t-test, Pearson correlation coefficient, and multiple regressions analysis with SPSS version 22.0 program.

Results : The influencing factors on the job satisfaction were superior support(¥â£½.367, p£¼.001), job autonomy(¥â£½.697, p£¼.001), age(¥â£½.046, p£¼.001). And these factors explained 18.4% of the variance in job satisfaction.

Conclusion : The higher superior support, the higher job autonomy, the higher the age, the more job satisfaction was statistically higher. In addition, it is necessary to develop an effective program that can increase superior support, job autonomy, focusing on factors that affect job satisfaction.
